How much does it cost for window tint?
The starting price for a full vehicle can range from $340 to $490 depending on the vehicle and type of window tint.
Does window tint have to be dark to block heat?
No, the darkness of the window tint is not the only factor that determines its ability to block heat. With modern ceramic window tints, even relatively light shades can effectively block a significant amount of solar heat from entering your vehicle. The ceramic particles in these tints help reflect and disperse infrared rays, which are the primary source of heat from sunlight, regardless of the visible light transmission level. So you can enjoy the benefits of heat rejection while still maintaining a higher level of visibility through the tinted windows.
Is window tint installed on the inside or outside of the vehicle?
Window tint films are almost always installed on the inside of a vehicle’s glass windows and windshield. Applying the tint to the interior surface protects the film from exposure to the elements like rain, snow, tree sap and prevents it from being damaged over time. Installing on the inside also provides a buffer between the tint and potential scratches or abrasions from the outside.
