How-To use Xpel Rinse-Free Car Wash
Car washing has evolved with the arrival of rinse free solutions, offering a convenient way to clean your vehicle without needing a hose. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple yet effective method of using a rinse-free car wash, ensuring a sparkling clean car with minimal water usage.
Supplies You’ll Need
- A 5-gallon bucket (preferably with grit guards to prevent debris from mixing back into the water and onto your wash mitt. And wheels for mobility)
- Rinse-Free Car Wash solution
- 4 microfiber waffle drying towels
- A microfiber wash mitt
Preparing the Bucket
- Start with a 5-gallon bucket.
- Fill the bucket about halfway with water.
Mixing the Rinse-Free Car Wash
- After filling the bucket halfway with water, add 10 capfuls of the rinse-free car wash solution.
Washing the Car
- Ensure you have about four microfiber waffle drying towels on hand. They are effective for soaking up water, avoiding streaks, and preventing scratches.
- Use a microfiber mitt for washing. Dunk it in the solution and halfway squeeze it out to retain a good amount of product.
- Start washing from the top of the car, allowing the rinse-less wash to flow down and drag dirt from the top of the panel to the bottom.
Drying Process
- Use the waffle towel to start drying the car.
- If you see any streaks while drying, don’t worry. Use a new dry towel to remove them, applying light pressure.
- Flip the towel as needed to avoid leaving streaks.
- Once a panel is completely dry, move on to the next one.
Cleaning the Wash Mitt
- Before moving to the next panel, ensure the mitt is free from contamination.
- Clean the mitt at the bottom of the bucket, scrubbing each side on the grit grate. This process keeps the dirt at the bottom of the bucket, ensuring the mitt is clean for the next panel.
Continuing the Process
- Continue the same pattern for the entirety of the car.
